Ituri : les Jeunes Lendu appellent Félix Tshisekedi à libérer tous les fils de la province en détention

Les Jeunes de la Communauté Lendu en Ituri dans le Nord-Est de la RDC sollicitent la levée de détention et des poursuites en faveur des dignes fils de la province privés de liberté depuis plus de 14 ans, arrêtés pour crimes de guerre.
Dans une lettre ouverte adressée au Chef de l’État, Félix Tshisekedi, dont une copie est parvenue le dimanche 17 mars à Ouragan FM, ces jeunes demandent, dans le cadre des mesures de grâce, la levée de détention et des poursuites en favuer de leurs frères incarcérés à la prison militaire de Ndolo, à la prison de Makala et à Angenga.

En outre, ces jeunes demandent que justice soit faite pour enrayer les affres de la guerre, rappelant que le peuple Lendu a été victime des conflits depuis 1999 jusqu’aux environs de l’année 2004, période au cours de laquelle l’ex district de l’Ituri a connu les moments les plus sombres de son histoire avec des affrontements et massacres interethniques, essentiellement entre les communautés Hema et Lendu, des barbaries inimaginable des conflits des terres et identitaires, doublés de la dimension socio-économique entretenus par des agresseurs venus de nos pays voisins.
Les mêmes faits malheureux ont encore rebondi depuis le mois de décembre 2017 en territoire de Djugu suite à la mauvaise gestion des problèmes sécuritaires par l’Etat Congolais. La communauté Lendu a encore une fois été victime de violation des droits de l’homme, des crimes de guerre et crimes contre humanité, poursuit le même document.
